Todd Co. KY census 1850 named in g-father Samuel's will from MyFamily.Com posted by Herb Shemwell (picture of stones on site) The gravestone of Ben and Mary. They lived in the Pettis Co., Mo area all their lives after moving there in the mid-1850's. It is believed that they came with thier cousins-George M. Shemwell whose family settled nearby but moved shortly to the Arrow Rock, Mo. area in the next county. Ben and Mary died just several days apart from pneumonia. McKee Chapel Cemetery, Pettis Co., Mo.
