Note
John R McGehee is mentioned in the Probate of Fanny Cavender. He is married to Fanny's niece, Eliza Jane Haswell who was originally married to Shemuel McGehee (died 1897). Shemuel and Eliza had a daughter named Jane who in 1899 planned to marry Bill Brown. Since Shemuel and Eliza Jane were deceased by then, her step father (John R McGehee) applied for their marriage license.
