A VIRGINIA FAMILY OF WHITE.
In 1779 DANIEL WHITE bought from William Wood a
plantation near Batesville, Virginia, which he sold to Benjamin Ficklin. In Virginia,1812 he purchased a farm of Menan Mills, at the bend of Meechum's River on Broadaxe, which has been in the possession of the family ever since. He died in 1818. His wife was Elizabeth.
