Todd County Native Leaves 176 Descendants
GREENVILLE - An 89 year old, Todd County native died Friday leaving 176 descendants. A brother also survives
Mrs. Fannie McGehee, widow of H. G. McGehee, died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Roberta Laster in Clifty.
She was born in Todd County, April 8, 1875, and was a member of New Harmony General Baptist Church.
Survivors include five other daughters, Mrs. Bessie Roberts, Hopkinsville, Mrs. Alpha Heltsley and Mrs. Ira Moore, both of Clifty, Mrs. Malroll Johnson, Mrs. Nettie Roberts, both of Sharon Grove; three sons, Harvey McGehee, Route 2, Greenville, and Earnest McGehee, Clifty; 45 grandchildren; 115 great - grandchildren; 7 great - great - grandchildren; one brother Geal Settles, Louisville.
The body is at Gary Funeral Home, Greenville. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at New Harmony General Baptist Church, burial in Slaughter Cemetery, Clifty. |
