Son of Albert H. and Emma Barnett Coble; born May 15, 1883, Frankfort, Ind. Physician. Assistant Professor of Rhinology, Otology, Laryngology, Indiana University School of Medicine. Thirty-second degree Mason; member of Phi Beta Pi fraternity. Enlisted in Medical Corps May 11, 1917, Indianapolis. Commissioned 1st Lieutenant June 5, 1917. Promoted to Major at time of death.
Died "from accidental or other causes", May 11, 1919, St. Nazaire, France.
