Obituary
DIED.-In this city, on Tuesday, April 20, 1880, Lafayette R. Stanfield, aged 15 years. Deceased is the grandson of Thomas Stanfield, and Samuel Ritchie was his guardian. The funeral took place from the residence of Mrs. Hanks, on West North street, this afternoon at one o'clock. Dr. Goodwin preached the funeral sermon, and the remains were interred in the Walton cemetery, west of the city. The Daily Republican (Decatur, Illinois), Wednesday, April 21, 1880, pg3
