She was a Ward Clerk for Western Baptist Hospital for 24 years, volunteered at Brooksville Regional Hospital for 10 years, volunteered to play piano for the local nursing homes and was a member of Gulf Ridge Park Baptist Church of Brooksville.
Survivors include her Son: Phil Shemwell of Brooksville and a Daughter: Randa Shemwell of Pawnee, OK.
