"Obituary -
SNOW -- James, 75, of Tulsa, OK died Tuesday, January 4, 2004, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. James was born June 20, 1929, in McCurtain, OK, to Elmer Snow and Georgia Brunk Snow. He graduated from Webster High School, Class of 1948, served with the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, and retired with over 30 years of service with 20th Century Manufacturing of Tulsa as a Foreman. He enjoyed boating, skiing, camping and woodworking. Jim enjoyed coaching his daughters' softball teams, as well as being involved with all of their activities; he also was active in the Grief Share Group at Christ United Methodist Church in Tulsa. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Joan Snow. Survivors include 1 son, David Snow of Edmond; 3 daughters, Claudia Fields of Tulsa, Rachel Whitaker of Paducah, KY, Marcia Greer of Edmond; and 8 grandchildren. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday January 7, 2005, in the Bentonville Cemetery with the Rev. Don Marrow officiating. Memorials may be made in honor of James Snow to the American Diabetes Association. Stockdale Funeral Services, (479) 631-1353." |
