Mrs Josephine Troutman, 83, former Kewanna resident, died Friday at 6 p.m. in the Lake County Covalescent Home at Crown Point.
Born in Kewanna May 2, 1878, she was the daughter of John and Nancy Harvey Barnett. She was married to Charles Troutman, who died in 1951.
Surviving are two daughters, MRs. Berdena Visnovski and Mrs. Ethel Floyd, both of Gary; two sons, Sam [Troutman], Gary, and William [ Troutman], Hobart; ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Harrison funeral home in Kewanna. Rites are pending.
