Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Christian church there and during the sermon his wife, Mrs. H. N. TROUTMAN, aged 70, passed away, a victim of tuberculosis. Three children, Hal TROUTMAN and Mrs. Leroy GARNER, of Kewanna, and Charles TROUTMAN of Gary survive. Civil War Service: Enlisted as a Private on 31 March 1862. Enlisted in Company A, 26th Infantry Regiment Indiana on 31 Mar 1862.
