Emma Louise Masteller (nee Wilson) Obituary and Family Listing Emma Louise Masteller, 98, of Kewanna passed away peacefully at 4:45 a.m., Sunday, February 22, 2015 at her residence. Born on March 20, 1916 in Hannibal, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Nellie Wilson. On December 7, 1933, she married Robert L. Masteller and he preceded her in death on March 4, 1984. Mrs. Masteller was a homemaker. She also assisted her husband on their farm for many years. She was past matron of the Rochester Order of Eastern Star, member of Kewanna United Methodist Church, DAR and the clan Gunn. Survivors include her three sons, Billy Masteller (Ruth) of Mishawaka, J Masteller and Jonathan Masteller, both of Kewanna, six daughters, Dara Yoder of Argos, Mary Nell Smith (Ron) of Twelve Mile, Barbara Wireman of Lafayette, Sally Masteller of Tuscon, Arizona, Martha Burns (Jeffrey) of Atlanta, Georgia and Emma Masteller of Redwood City, California. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, 2 sisters, daughter-in-law, Cathy Masteller and son-in-law, Clyde Wireman. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Kewanna United Methodist Church with Pastor Todd Wilson officiating. WILSON, 94, formerly of Fulton County and living in Evansville since November 1979, died at 7:20 p.m. Monday at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was born April 10, 1886 in Union Township to John F. and Emma R. CARTER WILSON. She married Walter W. WILSON, Oct. 3, 1911 in Wisconsin; he died Sept. 25, 1964. She was a member of the Cason United Methodist Church, Delray, Fla. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Louise) MASTELLER, Rt. 1, Kewanna, and Mrs. Gene (Martha) LATHAN, Evansville; a son, Harold [WILSON], Indianapolis; two sisters, Anna MARTIN, Winterhaven, Fla., and Agnes WILSON, Indianapolis; seventeeh grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Three brothers, two sisters, a son and a daughter preceded in death. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna, with the Rev. Gene V. PERSONETT officiating. WILSON, 80, Del Ray Beach, Fla., a former Kewanna resident, died in Del Ray Beach Tuesday following an illness of several years. Mr. Wilson was a former Fulton county surveyor and was a retired farmer. He moved from Kewanna to Florida in 1955. Born in Kewanna March 21, 1884, he was the son of William F. and Charlotte DOAN WILSON. His wife, Nellie Mae [WILSON], preceded in death. He was a member of the Cason Methodist church in Del Ray Beach and was a graduate of Kewanna high school and Purdue university. He served with the Army in the Philippine Islands. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Louise) MASTELLER, Kewanna, and Mrs. Eugene (Martha) LATHAM, Evansville; a son, Harold [WILSON], Indianapolis; a sister, Miss Myrtle WILSON, Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Ernest [WILSON], Morrow, O.; seventeen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Final rites will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Harrison chapel at Kewanna and burial will be in the Kewanna I.O.O.F. cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Harold Walter Wilson Obituary and Family Listing Harold Walter Wilson 98, of Indianapolis, died peacefully September 11, 2010. Harold was born in Chicago on July 31, 1912. He married Thelma E. Alford on November 10, 1946. Survivors include his wife Thelma; his children, Karen Coffin, Alford Wilson (Kathy) and Charlotte Gambrel; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Mastellar. He was a 1936 graduate of Purdue University, and a member of Alpha Chi Rho Fraternity. During WWII he served in Japan as a U.S. Army combat engineer. He worked as a civil engineer for the Indiana highway department for 32 years. Always a Boilermaker, he attended Purdue Alumni Association meetings into his early 90's. A life-long member of the Methodist Church, Harold attended Central Avenue, Broad Ripple, and Bethel United Methodist Churches. His entire family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will miss Harold.
