Glenn Barnett
Mrs. J. B. (Glenn) BARNETT, 90, died Tuesday at 1:04 p.m. at the Ridgedale nursing home in South Bend. A Rochester resident until May, 1968, she had lived with a son, Edwin [BARNETT], at Granger before moving to the nursing home.
Born April 9, 1880, in Kewanna, she was the daughter of Edwin and Carolyn HENDRICKSON. Her marriage was Oct. 25, 1898, at Kewanna, to Joseph B. BARNETT, who died Sept. 19, 1942.
Mrs. Barnett was a member of the Trinity United Methodist church.
Surviving are five sons, Joseph [BARNETT] of Culver, who is president of Associates Ind. of South Bend; Edwin [BARNETT[, Granger; Roscoe [BARNETT], Mishawaka; Dean [BARNETT], South Bend and Carl [BARNETT], Des Plaines, Ill.; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were two sisters and two brothers, including O. M. HENDRICKSON of this city.
Last rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with the Rev. Raymond HARRIS of Mishawaka officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service.
