Samuel E Wilson Obituary and Family Listing Hold Samuel E. Wilson Funeral on Tuesday Samuel E. Wilson, age 74, died at Chanute hospital last Saturday night. Mr. Wilson was born in Alien county and has lived practically all of his life in this vicinity. For the past twenty-five years he has farmed about four miles south of Iola. He was primarily a stockman and was a well known breeder of draft horses. His horses were exhibited at a number of fairs. Mr. Wilson was a member of the First Methodist church, Iola. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Harry Burns, Iola, Mrs. Carl Burgess, Parsons, and Mrs. Marvin Hodges, Pasadena, Calif., two grand children and his sister, Miss Frances A. Wilson, former Allen county treasurer, with whom he has made his home since his wife died some years ago. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p. m., Tuesday, at the Waugh Funeral Home by the Rev. C. E. Sisney.
