Charles L Palmer Obituary and Family Listing Neodesha Register Neodesha, Kansas Thursday, September 4, 1913 page 5 Death of Chas. Palmer. Chas. Palmer, a well known Fredonia young man who married Miss Lena Clegg of Neodesha about ten months ago, died in a hospital at Claremore, Okla., Monday, September 1, 1913, of kidney and stomach trouble. The remains were taken to Fredonia Tuesday, where funeral services were held at the home yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J.R. McFadden, pastor of the Methodist church at Chanute. Interment was made in the Fredonia cemetery under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity of that city, the ceremony being conducted by W.S. Pettit of Neodesha. Mr. Palmer's health had been poor for some time. When he passed away his wife and her mother, Mrs. Martha Clegg of Neodesha were at his bedside, as was also his mother, Mrs. Ryan of Fredonia.
