Chester Gillam, 86, 609 E. Harris St., Eaton, died Friday evening at Ball Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
A native of Carroll County, he retired in 1951 from General Electric Co. in Fort Wayne and moved to Eaton. He was a member of Eaton United Methodist Church.
Surviving is his wife, Nellie.
Services will be Monday in Eaton at 10 a.m. in Pitman-Richman funeral Home with Rev. Jay Taylor officiating. Friends may call from 2-5 and 7-4 p.m. Sunday and prior to services on Monday.
Burial will be in the Eddy Cemetery at Hamilton where graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday.
