mass in St. Paul's Cathedral at
11 a. m. )
Born in the 6hadyside district.
Mr, Loxterman Was a retired car-
penter and resided from 1906 until
1980 in the West.
He is survived by a son, Lester;
a brother, Joseph, and three sis-
ters, Mrs. M Obermeyer, Mrs.
Annie McQuillen and Mrs. Kath-
erine O'Brien all of Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Pearl I. Alton, 86, of 1005
Broadway, died Thursday at Bap-
tist Memorial Hospital. She was
born in Salina, Kas., and lived
here 60 vears. She was employed
by the Hotel Muehlebach before
she retired. Mrs. Alton was a
member of the Order of the East-
ern Star Surviving are six sons,
Robert H. Alton, 1025 Askew, Wil-
liam Loxterman, Pennsylvania,
Arnold Loxterman, Gallatin, Mo;
Harold Loxterman, 2407 Woodend,
Kansas City, Kansas: Joseph
Webb, Muskegon. Mich, and Rich-
ard Alton, California; five daugh-
ters, Mrs Dorothy Kaserman, 2732
Charlotte: Mrs Victoria Soule
and Mra. Sadie Crawford, both of
Martinez, Calif, Mrs. Lola Sulli-
van, Toledo, O.. and Mra. Martha
Jane Zoellers, 5821 Hedges, Ray-
town, 39 grandchildren, and seven
great-grandchildren. Services will
be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday at
the Stine & McClure chapel; buri-
al in White Chapel cemetery.
Friends mav call from 7 to 8:30
o'clock Sunday night at the chapel.

Ben Avon - Funeral services were held Wednesday morning for Lester L Loxterman, 60, who died Saturday June 16, 1984 in Allegheny General Hospital, North Side.
Mr. Loxterman, a custodian for the North Allegheny School District, was a member of the Valley Vets Club.
The husband of the late Katherine Eppinger Loxterman, he is survived by two brother-in-laws, Herbert H and George A. Eppinger, and two sister-in-laws, Jean Kovack and Evelyn Reyonlds.
Burial was in Avalon Luther Church Cemetery.
