She was born in Salina, Kas., and lived here 60 vears. She was employed by the Hotel Muehlebach before she retired. Survivors include daughter, Mayetta M. Cahill, Leavenworth, KS, two sons, Charlie A. Rees, Basehor, KS, and Terry L. Rees, Shawnee, KS, brother, Harry McDonald, Kansas City, MO, two sisters, Rosemary Prater, Merriam, KS, and Rita Camp, Hannibal, MO, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William McDonald. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, at the Sacred Heart Church, the Rev. Gary Applegate will officiate. Burial will be in the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the Davis Funeral Chapel, 531 Shawnee Street, Leavenworth, KS. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral chapel. There will be a Rosary held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Davis Funeral Chapel.
