Mrs. Pearl I. Alton, 86, of 1005
Broadway, died Thursday at Bap-
tist Memorial Hospital. She was
born in Salina, Kas., and lived
here 60 vears. She was employed
by the Hotel Muehlebach before
she retired. Mrs. Alton was a
member of the Order of the East-
ern Star Surviving are six sons,
Robert H. Alton, 1025 Askew, Wil-
liam Loxterman, Pennsylvania,
Arnold Loxterman, Gallatin, Mo;
Harold Loxterman, 2407 Woodend,
Kansas City, Kansas: Joseph
Webb, Muskegon. Mich, and Rich-
ard Alton, California; five daugh-
ters, Mrs Dorothy Kaserman, 2732
Charlotte: Mrs Victoria Soule
and Mra. Sadie Crawford, both of
Martinez, Calif, Mrs. Lola Sulli-
van, Toledo, O.. and Mra. Martha
Jane Zoellers, 5821 Hedges, Ray-
town, 39 grandchildren, and seven
great-grandchildren. Services will
be held at 2:30 o'clock Monday at
the Stine & McClure chapel; buri-
al in White Chapel cemetery.
