TEXAS CITY — June Hedges, 82, former longtime resident of Kilgore, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2005, in Texas City.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, December 10, 2005, at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas with Pastor James Lewis officiating. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Emken-Linton Funeral Home in Texas City (409-945-4444).
Mrs. Hedges was born June 18, 1923, in Bristow, Oklahoma. She was a retired secretary for the oil field services industry. She was a member of the Keenagers at the First Christian Church in Texas City.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hedges, Sr., and brother Jimmy Golden.
Survivors include daughter Carla Lambright and husband Tommy; son Carl F. Hedges, Jr. and wife Elizabeth; sister Patricia Percic and husband William; 7 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Steve McLane, Tony McLane, Casey McLane, Ken Flolo, Tommy Sample and Tommy Lambright. Honorary pallbearer is Paul Hardebeck.
