| Adoption | We have a birth record listing Maud as his mother, but she was in Dyersburg Tn. in 1910 and I can’t find any records of her ever being in Washington Co.
1920 Census says son, all born in KY.
1930 Says Adpt. Son b. KY parents b. US
I can’t find anything other than the 1930 Census that implies he was adopted…
How could Maud be his mother if he was adopted?
A few Ancestry trees list him as the son of Will and Annie Haydon Harmon who were living in Washington Co. in 1910.. If true he had a sister Louise b. 7-22-1910 and died in 1914 at the Kentucky Children’s Home Society and had been there for 3m – 23 days.
His other sister Ethel b abt 1907 in KY is listed with parents in 1910… but in the 1920 Census she is listed in the Kentucky Children’s Home Society in Louisville, Jefferson Co.
