Nathan McGehee Sr Will was written on August 15, 1803. The Will lists the following children: Nathan McGehee Jr, Jesse McGehee, Patsy (aka Martha) McGehee, Robert McGehee, Solomon McGehee, Osborn McGehee, and Miel McGehee. There is not mention of his wife, Nelly Lynch Martin, at that time. It is highly probably that she died before the Will was written.

Nathan McGehee Sr Will was written on August 15, 1803 in Jackson, Georgia; however, it was not recorded in Conway, Arkansas until January 12, 1858. A copy of this will was filed in the estate of his son Osborn McGeHee in 1859 deed book in Conway County, Arkansas, most likely to show that Osburn's estates had the rights to the slaves in that estate since they were probably descended from the Slave boy Payton given to Osburn by Nathan
