Burial | "Funeral services for Mr. Liston McGehee, 56, of 295 N. Broadway, Orcutt, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Magner Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James O. Hux, Sr. pastor of the Tanglewood Baptist Church officiating. Burial with military honors provided by Vandenberg Air Force Base will be in Santa Maria Cemetery. Mr. McGehee was born October 19, 1917 in Atkins, Arkansas and died Sunday afternoon in a Santa Barbara hospital. Before poor health forced retirement, he was employed as a carpenter for 15 years. Mr. McGehee had been a Santa Maria resident for four years. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Bernice McGehee of Orcutt; three sons, Robert McGehee of Buena Park, Gary Crow of Arroyo Grande and John Crow of Paso Robels; 2 daughters, Lynell McGehee of Buena Park and Mrs. Betty Austin of Atascadero; two brothers, Earl of Conway, Arkansas and Odis of Dinuba; four sisters, Ruby Barnett of Bakersfield, Myrtle Brewer of Yucalpa, Marie Roff of Anaheim and Velva Wineberger of El Reno, Oklahoma, and 5 grandchildren. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and through service time Wednesday."
