Obituary | Clair was born in Pine Grove on May 26, 1926, he was the youngest son to the late William and Annie LeVan.
Clair attended Pine Grove Schools and was a World War II Veteran serving in the US Navy, Air Force division. He then retired from the Bethlehem Steel.
Clair was a family man who loved the outdoors including summers by the pool or boating on Raystown Lake, always surrounded by friends & family. He was also an avid hunter and lover of the mountains which he enjoyed with his sons and nephew Wes. Clair was also known as "Pappy" by his grandchildren, nick-named by the oldest, Nicole, who was blessed to have shared many memories with him, including dancing in the living room at Christmas.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Nancy Eberly in 2011. Clair is survived by his daughter, Debbie C. LeVan Bernhard, Hummelstown, his sons Dr William D. LeVan, husband of Deborah Coulston, Harrisburg, Dr Scott B. LeVan, Camp Hill and grandchildren Nicole Bernhard, Philadelphia, Collette and Jake LeVan, Camp Hill and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main Street, Annville, PA with a visitation on Sunday February 14th at 2PM with a visitation at 1:30PM. Inurnment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Tuesday February 16th at 11AM with a procession forming at Kreamer Funeral Home at 10:30AM.
