Newspaper
The Greybull Standard and Tribune, March 14, 1924 Page 7 Mrs. Goldie Troutman of Bell Plaine had a fine Airedale dog, with a family of half-grown pups. Mrs. Troutman decided to bob her own hair, although a friend warned that the Airedale would die of broken heart. In spite of the warning Mrs. Troutman cut her hair. The next day the dog disappeared. Several weeks later she came back coaxed off all the pups.
