Note: James Thomas (Pop) Pulley was my great grandfather. He had TB. My fondest memory of him is when we would drive up to visit he would be sitting on the porch at my grandmother's (Nannie Lucille Pulley Harris) house chewing his tobaca and had a huge toothless grin on his face for us. He lived with my grandmother for as long as I can remember. Since he had TB grandmother would have to was his dishes separate from all the rest then our boiling water over them and let the m air dry. I remember all of us were instructed to never touch his dishes which sat on the counter stacked neatly. Plate, saucer, bowl, cup, glass, and silverware.
