Robert Lee Kuhn Obituary and Family Listing RONALD KUHN Obituary RONALD L. KUHN, 70, of LaGrange, formerly of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at his residence. Born May 6, 1939, in Akron, Ind., he was a member of Fort Wayne Friends Church. He retired after 36 years from Fort Wayne Community Schools, where he touched the lives of thousands during his career. He received his Bachelor's degree from Manchster College and his Masters degree form Indiana University. He was also a former member of Toastmasters Club and Treasurer of Gulf Lake Estates, in Bradenton, Fla. He enjoyed his family, music, fishing, and coin collecting, loved to sing, and doing magic with his grandchildren. "We take comfort in knowing, that through his faith, he is in a better place." Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Dianne; daughter, Kristie (Todd) Jacobs of Fort Wayne; son, Kip (Kari) Kuhn of Mt. Pleasant, Vt.; and four grandchildren. Private family service at a later date. A visitation celebrating Ron's life (as a cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle, teacher, and friend) is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road.
