Otto James Bruce Obituary and Family Listing Otto J. Bruce, Veteran Lawyer, Dies at 85 Mrs. Hoesel Receives Word Of Brother's Death Mrs. J. L. Hoesel has received word of the death of her brother. Otto J. Bruce. age 85, of Crown Point, who passed away Friday at the Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. Mr. Bruce was a graduate of Ladoga College, Ladoga, Ind, and of the University of Michigan Law School at Ann Arbor. He taught school in Pulaski County for four years and bad county law in the same office building in Crown Point for the past 60 years. Last November he was honored by the members of the Par Association in Crown Point at a banquet celebrating his 60th anniversary as a practicing lawyer. Surviving relatives include son, Robert Bruce of Crawfordsville: a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Chlagel of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Hoesel. Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Crown Point Presbyterian Church where he was a member. Mrs. Hoesel, her daughter.
