John P Rowe Obituary and Family Listing John is married to Helen. John Jr. is John's son. John & Helen is the parents of Rosemary Malone, Betty Joan Montgomery, and Thelma Joy Gardner. John P. Rowe LYONS- John P. Rowe, 80, of Lyons passed away Monday Morning at his residence. He was born Feb. 12, 1910 in Sandborn, the son of David and Mary (Richey) Rowe. He was a farmer, and retired in 1978. He was a member of the Switz City Full Gospel Church. Survivors include three daughters: Rosemary Malone of Switz City, Bettey Joan Montgomery and Thelma Joy Gardner, both of Lyons: a brother James Rowe of Bicknell; three sisters: Flossie O'Brien of Lyons, Minnie Sterling of Bedford and Katherine Cooksey of Bicknell; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Carpenter) Rowe, on April 16, 1986; a son, John P. Rowe Jr.; his parents; four brothers; and one sister. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home Lyons with the Rev. Samuel Hill officiating. Burial will be in Sandborn Cemetery.
