Ruth Smith Obituary and Family Listing Published in the Rochester(IN) Sentinel, Monday, February 5, 1979 Mrs. Ruth SMITH, 96, Kewanna, died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Helen ANDERSON, Kewanna. She was born July 11, 1882 near Kewanna to John A. and Nancy HARVEY BARNETT. She married Oliver SMITH Nov. 29, 1902 in Kewanna; he died Oct. 20, 1957. She was a member of the Kewanna United Methodist church. Surviving with the daughter are three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Eight sisters, three brothers, two half-sisters, a half-brother and a grandchild preceded in death. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Harrison-Metzger funeral home in Kewanna with the Rev.
